Where can I buy tickets to HOP?

  • 3

What do I get with my HOP ticket?

    • Tickets ($35 advanced/$40 day of event) allow festival entry, commemorative tasting glass and samples of 40+ Schlafly Beers during the tasting portion, Noon-4pm.
    • Samples are first come first served and while we will have plenty of kegs per style, don’t wait on sampling a popular one. Attendees are not guaranteed that they will be able to try all styles.

Can I get a refund on my ticket?

    • Unfortunately, no. Ticket sales are final and non-refundable.
    • Tickets can be transferred, however, to friends/family. Simply forward your ticket confirmation or visit Eventbrite to transfer.
  • 5

Do I need a ticket to come to HOP?

    • Nope! You only need a ticket if you want to taste 40+ Schlafly Beers during the tasting session.
    • Designated Drivers do not need tickets, either.
  • 6

    Are there age restrictions?

    • HOP in the City is a 21+ event.
    • If you do not have a valid ID with your session ticket, you will not be able to enter the festival.

Can I bring food, my dog, tents, bike, etc?

    • We’ll have all the beer your heart desires - we are a brewery after all! Leave any beer, alcohol or liquor at home and drink ours instead.
    • Got the muchies? No problem, we’ll have plenty of festival food available for purchase.
    • Hydration is key, especially while drinking all that delicious Schlafly Beer! We encourage you to bring your own re-fillable plastic water bottle to use at our H2O stations. Pro-tip: Plastic doesn’t break if you happen to have too many beers and drop it!
    • Did you know vitamin D has been proven to lift your mood and increase serotonin? Get out and enjoy the sunshine! If you get too hot, though, we’ll have a large tent, umbrellas and shade structures for you to cool down under. Plus, the Schlafly Tap Room will be open and the AC will be blasting.
    • Believe us, we are in love with dogs as much as anyone, but our furry friends can often get overwhelmed in crowds. Leave your puppers at home and just show everyone pictures like a good dog parent would.
    • Shocking fact ahead - beer is reserved for those over 21 years of age! So call up that babysitter and enjoy a day off with Schlafly!
    • Biking is a great way to burn off those calories you will drink at HOP, but make sure to lock it up outside of the festival grounds.
    • Beer, fun and safety are really important to us. Let’s keep it fun and safe by leaving all the questionable things at home. Not sure if it’s questionable? Use your adult judgement or email

Can I leave and come back?

    • Sure! As a ticket holder, once you’re wristbanded you are welcome to come and go as you please. Please note, though, that if you remove your wristband you won’t be able to take part in the tasting portion from Noon-4pm.
  • 9

Do you take cash & credit?

    • We will gladly accept cash and credit throughout the festival grounds.
    • An ATM is located within the Schlafly Tap Room.
  • 10

    • Yep! The Schlafly Tap Room’s inside restaurant and bars will be open for full service during the festival. You can come and go as you please between both areas.
  • 11

    What is the parking situation?

    • Since HOP in the City takes place on our main parking lots, there will not be immediate parking available. There are several public lots nearby, as well as street parking - but they will fill quickly. We encourage public transportation, cabs, Uber or biking.

    Is the festival ADA accessible?

    • Of course! HOP in the City will have ADA accessible restrooms, entrance to the festival and inside the  Schlafly Tap Room.
