The St. Louis Brewers Guild Harvest Festival Offers A Chance To Own A Piece Of Schlafly History

The St. Louis Brewers Guild is throwing its inaugural Harvest Festival on November 1st in Lafayette Park and it promises to be one heck of a party. This festival has everything: twenty-two local St. Louis breweries pouring a selection of brews made from fresh hops and seasonal ingredients (expect some tried and true classics as well), live music, food trucks, a giant pumpkin, local vendors and entertainers, a special Yoga Buzz session (early entry into the festival for an hour-long yoga class followed by a 15 minute head start on the beer tasting for only a $7 upcharge to your ticket), Furkels, a costume contest, and a silent auction. Schlafly Special Release Pumpkin Ale The Talk Of The Town In 2014

When Pumpkin Ale debuted at our annual HOP in the City Beer Festival back in 2006, we had no idea what a monster we had created.  We were on the precipice of launching a new seasonal series of “Special Release” beers that would be higher in alcohol content than our regular line-up (7%-8% abv) and highlight unique processes and HUGE flavor. Bottling our Pumpkin Ale for this series was a no-brainer. Today the Special Release lineup of Schlafly beers boasts some of our most beloved and talked about beer styles (such as our Tasmanian IPA which is just now hitting shelves throughout our distribution area), but it is Special Release Pumpkin Ale that reigns supreme.
