This is no slick, pre-fab assembly of professional grillers, it's a real, live, down and dirty AMATEUR BBQ COMPETITION. Teams compete on Saturday, May 23 to make the best pork steak for a GRAND PRIZE of $500 and bragging rights as WORLD CHAMPION of the World Pork Steak Championships! Other titles on the line: Other titles on the line: Best Appetizer with a Matching Schlafly Beer and Best Booth.

Lucy Saunders, author of Grilling With Beer, will be on site to sign cookbooks and talk about barbecue sauces, mops, marinades and more.
