The 3rd Annual Macklind Days Festival begins at 11 a.m. on Saturday May 14, 2011 in the SOHA neighborhood. The event will showcase unique and flavorful foods, local shops, services and host multi-cultural entertainment with a range of music and dance styles from around the world. Macklind Days is going green and will have composting and recycling.
The festival will feature a variety of local businesses and restaurants from Macklind Business District and surrounding areas including the Big River Running, Home-Eco, The Mack Bar & Grill, Manzo Importing Co., Carrollton Bank, Murdoch Perk, Onesto Pizza & Trattoria, Raineri Construction, Salon SoHa and Macklind Avenue Deli.
Parking is available at Buder Public School at 5319 Lansdowne Ave.
The event will feature a variety of family friendly activites on May 14, 2011 from 11am-8pm. registrations forms can be found on our webpage and facebook for the pie or watermelon contest and the washer’s tournament.
