casualYou are invited to attend a special, private screening of “Casualties of the State,” by Corner Film Productions, a local and independent St. Louis media production company.

This is a work-in-progress, and audience feedback will be requested. While we welcome our fans, we also welcome new audiences and their objective opinions. So, read the synopsis, please tell your family and friends about it, and bring people who are interested in this kind of movie. If you’d rather pass and see the final product in a movie theater, that’s alright, — we’ll see you at the movies later this year!

This is an exciting opportunity both for Corner Film Productions, The Schlafly Bottleworks, and for our fellow patrons to participate in an entertaining evening. Please arrive early, buy food and drink from our very kind hosts, and settle in for a unique evening in the Schlafly Bottleworks Crown Room.

A procedural drama set in the current political landscape, “Casualties of the State” tells the story of two seasoned FBI agents Jonathan Seeger (David R. Mueller) and Phillip Zoller (Ted Jordan), who are assigned to investigate the assassination of the Deputy Secretary of Defense. The NSA tasks young analyst Lucien Archer (Alexander McCormick) to assist. At first, the trio struggle to overcome their differences in age and mismatched personalities. But the stakes are raised when they discover a link to other murder victims, all powerful elites at the highest levels of the political establishment, all conspiring to incite and profit from a war between the United States and Iran. As the agents expose their findings, the investigation is called into question by several high ranking intelligence officials, including Lucien’s supervisor, Jillian Danvers (Portia Secor) and former Vice-President, Stuart Wilmot (Paul Russell).

“In War, the First Casualty is Truth”
