The Young Literati Regifted Book Swap
Young Literati Regifted Reads: A Churlish Book Swap
January 13, 2015
6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Schlafly Tap Room: North Bar
What, you didn’t want a book called Moles And Their Meaning for your holiday reading? You know, your grandma spent a lot of time picking out that book on urban goat-herding for you. You mean you didn’t even open Knit Your Own Cat? Oh, you ingrate, you!
Never fear! Join the Young Literati as we lure you over to the dark side of gift-giving: re-gifting! Join us at the Schlafly Tap Room on January 13, from 6 – 8pm for Regifted Reads: A Churlish Book Swap! Bring all the weird books your misguided relatives have given you over the years, and swap them for something you’d really like.
This swap will feature Erin Guss, Second Floor Manager of Central Library. Come meet Erin on January 13 and join us to swap books, chat, and enjoy delicious food and drinks from 6pm to 8pm. Bring a book you don’t mind parting with and meet Young Literati event host Jenny Pitzer at the Tap Room’s North Bar to say hi and get to know everybody.
The Young Literati of the St. Louis Public Library Foundation are a dynamic group of young professionals in their 20s, 30s, and 40s who are committed to growing a vibrant, literary St. Louis. You do not have to be a member of the Young Literati to attend, but maybe you’ll want to join after you get to know us!
