MINORCAN frontman Ryan Anderson started as a solo act in Austin, Texas releasing two solo albums, Trains Take Away Old Friends and Garden Path, before forming Minorcan in 2008..has had many members in all its incarnations, but the core group at present is Anderson and bassist Joey Terry, who also arranges the band’s songs. Terry also performs with The Poison Control Center, an Iowa based post-pop band. The trio play lo-fi “basement arena” rock oozing with infectious energy. Their new album new album, DEAD MAN, is out on cassette, CD and digital outlets (iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, etc)!

THE UNION ELECTRIC is made up of veteran St. Louis musicians Tim Rakel, Glenn Burleigh, Melinda Cooper and Mic Boshans. Voted BEST FOLK ARTIST of 2014 by THE RIVERFRONT TIMES, they rock more than that title suggests and feature the smart lyrics and sometimes long-form song structures of the lead man, Rakel, aka, Tim Rakehell who hosts KDHX’ MYSTERY TRAIN on Monday mornings.
