The event starts at 6; Dean will talk about the book at 6:15. There will be a short trivia contest (is it Frank Dodge or Dean?) with prizes, books will be available for purchase, and did we mention Schlafly Beer? Come support an independent author at an independent brewery, grab some dinner, and stick around for the bands that start playing at 9.

About DOUBLE-DEALING IN DUBUQUE (Frank Dodge Mystery #2)

Writer Frank Dodge is feeling optimistic for a change. He just landed a plum assignment from a national magazine to write about the growth of boutique food in the Midwest. When a fire erupts at the food convention Dodge is scouting out, two people die and Dodge can’t shake the feeling that the fire was no accident. Dodge’s search for the truth will take him from the specialty shops of Galena to recognizable haunts in Dubuque to the murky backwaters of the Mississippi River and land him in the middle of a volatile feud between ice cream queen Stella and chocolatier Ashley. Double-Dealing in Dubuque is a compelling novel that delves into what can go wrong when feuds get out of hand.
