Crown Room Policies - Schlafly Bottleworks

Before proceeding to our contract, and so that we can better assist you in planning that perfect event at Schlafly Bottleworks, please take a moment to read through our private event policies below.

general policies

All parties are contracted for 5 hours. If you would like to extend your party, there is a fee of $150/per hour. All party extensions must be scheduled and paid for in advance.

There is a 4 hour time limit on all host bars. After the host bar limit expires the remainder of the event must be cash bar.

Once your 5 hour time limit, or an approved extended time limit has expired, we ask that guests vacate the private room. They are permitted to visit the restaurant bar if they wish to continue drinking.

You are permitted to access your private room one hour before your event. If you would like more time and there is no scheduled afternoon event, a $50 early set-up fee would allow you access to the room at noon the day of the event.

Schlafly Bottleworks restricts the use of decorations that require nails, tacks, staples, glitter, or confetti. String and/or tape are an acceptable way to hang decorations. Centerpieces are encouraged.

Decorations, displays or entertainment (including singing telegrams or any other personal appearances) must have approval prior to the confirmation of your event. Please keep in mind that Schlafly Bottleworks is not responsible for the arrangement of deliveries or entertainment. Deliveries of goods and/or services must be coordinated with our banquet coordinator.

The food and beverage prices are subject to a 19% service charge. State and city sales tax will be charged on all food and beverage items. State and city laws require that sales tax also be charged on the service fees.

The 19% service charge is a labor charge and not a gratuity.  Staff working your event receive an increased wage over that of regular restaurant staff and therefore expect no additional gratuity.  Additional gratuity is not mandatory but at your discretion.

It is the policy of the Schlafly Bottleworks that all food items from a buffet style set-up, with the exception of desserts, cheeses, and cured meats, may not be taken in “to go” boxes from the premises.

IT IS AGAINST THE ESTABLISHED POLICY OF SCHLAFLY BOTTLEWORKS TO SERVE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES TO "VISIBLY INTOXICATED" PERSONS.

reservations, room charge and payment
